Admissions Requirements
Collar and leash:
For safety throughout our facility, K9U dogs must wear a strong buckle collar
with identification tags along with a quality leash.
Vaccinations:
To safeguard the health and well being of all K9U students, all dogs must have
current vaccinations:
• Distemper/Parvo
• Rabies
• Bordetella
K9U requires written proof of vaccinations before your dog’s first visit.
Other recommendations:
K9U strongly recommends monthly heartworm and flea preventative treatments
and a fecal check every 6 months.

If your dog becomes ill at K9U, we will contact you and your vet.
In an emergency, we will transport your dog to Chicago Veterinary Emergency Center or Animal Emergency & Treatment Center of Chicago
