Training—Professor K9U

Professor K9U answers your questions about K9U training

Q: My dog does not like other dogs. Can we still enroll in a group class?
A: Yes. Class dogs do not socialize with one another freely. If you think you can
not control your dog in a group setting, we can evaluate your dog before class.

Q: What do I need to bring for class?
A: For the first class bring a secure collar, a 6 foot cotton, nylon or leather leash
(not retractable) and small, soft training treats. Other training equipment will be
discussed during class.

Q: I just adopted a 6 year old dog. Is he too old for basic obedience class?
A: Any dog over the age of 5 months will benefit from K9U's Basic Obedience Class.
This class teaches you and your dog to communicate with one another. He or she
will also learn basic obedience commands.

Q: Why should we choose K9U obedience classes?
A:
Our classes are a great value. With over 50 years of combined experience working
with different breeds, temperaments and client situations, our trainers have the
ability to find a style that best fits you and your dog.
